Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 2026
We want everyone to be able to enjoy Colorlign, including players who are colorblind, use a keyboard instead of a mouse, or prefer reduced motion. This page explains what we have built and how to reach us if something is not working for you.
Our standard
Colorlign is designed to meet Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2. This is the widely recognized standard for accessible websites and apps.
What we have built in
- Every tile has a shape, not just a color. Because the game is about matching colors, we made sure color is never the only way to tell tiles apart. Each tile also has its own pattern, so the game works for players with color blindness too. You can also turn on a bolder, higher contrast version of these patterns in Settings.
- Reduced motion. If animation is distracting or uncomfortable for you, turn on Reduced Motion in Settings and the match animations will resolve instantly instead of playing out.
- Keyboard and tap friendly controls. The core way to play, select a tile and then select a neighboring tile, works the same whether you are using a mouse, a touchscreen, or a keyboard.
- Clear contrast and readable text. We aim for strong contrast between text and its background throughout the game.
Still a work in progress
Colorlign is actively being built and improved. If you come across something that is hard to use, we want to know about it so we can fix it.
